CSRM researchers are advising three higher degree research (HDR) students who are investigating different social dimensions of mine closure:

  • The design of a post-mining land-use assessment framework to minimise social and economic disruptions and environmental degradation in coal mining regions facing transition – Andrea Arratia Solar
  • Regional planning for mining regions – Lucia Neme Gaviola.
